The Rocky Mountain JETAA chapter, based in Denver, CO is hosting the JETAA 2012 Regional Tech Conference.The conference will take place from 27-29 January 2012 at the Estes Park YMCA in Colorado.
RMJETAA welcomes chapter delegates from across the USA as well as Canada. Delegates are expected to be JETAA chapter representatives who will bring the skills they’ve learned back to their home chapters to help improve the efficiency and visibility of JETAA.
Building upon the groundwork laid down at the 2010 Regional Tech Conference hosted by JETAA Portland, the 2012 Conference will focus on website building and maintenance, database/ membership management, and successful communication tools with members (social media, etc.). These topics were determined as high priority needs based on discussions at the 2011 National Conference and the survey sent out to JETAA USA chapter representatives.
There will be both teaching sessions as well as practice sessions where delegates create a product and/ or utilize the applications introduced to them. There will be sessions to accommodate both beginner and advanced level users as well as mentoring and collaboration sessions for all delegates to work together.
Conference registration is currently open and interested chapter officers/ representatives should work with their local chapter officers to determine their ability to attend. Registration deadline for 2012 Regional Tech Conference delegates is 11:59pm, 18 December 2011.
