Thursday, 9/26 – Welcome Reception (Business attire)
The 2013 JETAA USA National Conference will begin with a Welcome Reception hosted by the US-Japan Bridging Foundation. Please try to make it if at all possible. There are exciting things abounding with JETAA USA, and one of the main organizations, the US-Japan Bridging Foundation, who have helped this effort propel forward is hosting this reception. In addition, our very own and very special guest, Vice President & Ambassador, Walter F. Mondale, will be attending. It’s an honor to have him.
Opening remarks will be given by Vice President Walter F. Mondale. Bridging Foundation Executive Director Paige Cottingham-Streater (ALT, Mie-Ken 1988-1989) will introduce the new JETAA initiative “Strengthening the JETAA Network and Connecting Next Generation Leaders,” and the project’s director, Laurel Lukaszewski (ALT, Kagoshima-ken 1990-1992).
The reception is 6:30-8:30 pm at Crave in downtown Minneapolis. We will be leaving from the hotel lobby, as a group, at 6 pm on Thursday. If you arrive late, there will be a JETAAMN Ambassador waiting for you for about 10-20 minutes longer.

Friday, 9/27 – MOFA Reception (Business attire)
Friday evening’s reception will be hosted by MOFA at the Rock Bottom Brewery which is a short walk from the hotel. We will be meeting in the lobby at 5:40 PM to walk together as a group.

Saturday, 9/28 – CLAIR Reception (Business attire)
Saturday evening’s reception is hosted by CLAIR at Hell’s Kitchen. We will be meeting in the lobby at 5:40pm to walk together. It is close to the Rock Bottom Brewery and a short walk.
