The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program
The JET Program hires college graduates to work for anywhere from one to five years as Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) or, sometimes, Sports Exchange Advisors (SEAs), in public schools in Japan, or as Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs) in a variety of settings. For information about the JET Program and on how to apply, please visit the JET Program USA official website.
The JET Alumni Community
The foundation of JETAA USA is its chapters. These provide information and services to alumni as well as being a place to come together to share friendship and camaraderie among people with similar interests and experiences.
The best way to become involved with JETAA is to contact your nearest chapter. JETAA USA currently has 19 chapters across the United States, and many of these have local subchapters.
Find your nearest chapter using the below map and get in touch by clicking on the links in the Chapter Directory.
